The Washington Township Wendy's, near Edinboro, will donate all proceeds today to the family of the Alexander Cavanah killed at the restaurant, as well as donate a 100 percent match of the proceeds.
Alexander died at the hospital after he was shot during a robbery at the restaurant Saturday.
He was a shift manager at the Wendy's. He graduated from Meadville High School in 2015 and was preparing to enter the ministry through the Church of the Nazarene. Alexander was set to deliver his first formal sermon next month. He leaves behind a wife and is survived by his mother, three sisters and a brother.
A Light in the Darkness vigil will be held tonight at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Wendy's in his memory.
