That huge storm we endured over the weekend not only gave us headaches, it made for tricky driving in other states that usually don't get icy roads. Driving on ice is like playing poker; you can read all about it, but until you do it, you don't realize how tricky it can be. But here in the Erie area, we had the greatest training ground of all--empty parking lots. I challenge any driving instructor out there to name a better way to train for winter driving than doing donuts with a beater car in the icy parking lot of a business that has been long OUT of business. That, to me, is the only way to learn. Am I right, Rocketeers?
