Presque Isle State Park officials have extended the swimming season and free pontoon tours for two more weekends.
Beach 8 will be open and guarded for extended swimming on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., weather permitting. It will also be open and guarded on Sept. 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., also weather permitting.
Beach 8 concessions will also be open to correspond with the extended swim hours for the two designated weekends.
