Susan, Duff McKagan Donate 1,000 Masks To Seattle Hospital

Susan Holmes McKagan and her husband, Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan, delivered 1,000 medical masks to childcare staff at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle on Friday.

Susan called it "cathartic to give back" and the couple added that they plan to donate 1,000 more masks as soon as possible.

"You guys are heroes!" Duff added via Twitter. It was [Susan] and my absolute pleasure."

The masks were made by high-end fashion and lifestyle brand Chrome Hearts, which has dedicated part of its Hollywood facility to crafting personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beyond their philanthropic efforts, the McKagans are busy regardless of widespread coronavirus lockdowns.

Susan just released her novel, The Velvet Rose. In an interview last week with the Appetite for Distortion podcast, she said Duff has been busy working on new Guns N' Roses music.
