Kurt Cobain NYC Pop-Up Shop Includes Merch Featuring Artwork & More

Kurt Cobain's legacy is the subject of a New York City pop-up shop, which features merchandise curated by his daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. While the collection went for sale online, as well at Barneys NY and Selfridges UK, the capsule line is now available via ShopNation, Live Nation's flagship boutique store in Manhattan.

From now until Saturday, fans can get their hands on items from the "Kurt Was Here" collection, which features t-shirts, hoodies, and a coffee table-ready book with his artwork. "The retailer will offer a limited quantity of 5 unique 'Kurt Was Here' apparel styles, as well as a collector's edition coffee table book, featuring Kurt’s sketches, paintings, and drawings," a press release read. "Each item in this collection was curated and designed under the creative direction of Frances Bean Cobain, and is being released to celebrate these authentic works with artists, collectors, and fans." Shop Nation is located at 430 West 15th St and open from Tuesday-Friday 11 AM-7 PM, and Saturday 11 AM-5 PM.

If you can't get your hands on the merch in-person, the collection is still available online, while supplies last. A portion of all online sales will be donated to the Jed Foundation, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the emotional health and preventing suicide for teens and young adults.

What you won't find in the collection is the iconic sweater that the late, great icon wore during his MTV Unplugged set. Since being relisted on Julien's Auction, the piece is currently at $110,000. The sale ends on October 25.
